Blanca Rosa Peralta, originally from Arequipa, Peru, has called the United States her home for more than 18 years. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Education with a specialization in Science from the Catholic University of Santa Maria in Arequipa, and later obtained a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from the University of Lima.

Blanca’s passion for teaching led her to a career as a mathematics teacher in a high school for over two decades. During her time in Canton, MS, she shared her expertise as a Spanish teacher at Holy Child Jesus Catholic School for more than six years.

Additionally, she contributed to her community by dedicating over 15 years to the Hispanic Ministry at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Currently, Blanca is making a meaningful impact as a Community Health Organizer at MIRA, focusing on community well-being and outreach.
